Announcement: Grand Rapids Museum Inventors Challenge
The Grand Rapids Museum is pleased to announce the results of the “Inventors Challenge” held on Saturday, February 24th.
We are proud of all the creative and innovative individuals who participated in this fantastic event and showcased their amazing ideas and inventions.
Junior Category Winners
1st Place: [Omar Mohammed, Gifted School – Anbar, Iraq, for the invention of a baby alarm for deaf parents]
2nd Place: [Malak Ahmed, for the invention of a cancer treatment extract – Egypt]
3rd Place: [Hamza Mohammed Shabar, Gifted School, for the invention of Geothermal Energy for heating – Iraq]
Youth Category Winners
1st Place: [Khawla Al-Kilani and Tasneem Khaled, for the invention of a new milk to boost immunity, University of Sirte – Libya] Second Place: Obi Hamzaoui for inventing an app to help people with disabilities, Ben Arous Association – Tunisia
